3月上海爆发COVID-19聚集性疫情以来的种种 What happened since COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai from Mar 2022

2022年3月1日，中国上海市因对境外输入病例管理疏漏、缺乏有效疫苗保护、疫苗施打率不足等问题，引发COVID-19奥密克戎变异株BA.2以及BA.2.2社区大规模传播，随后这座人口超过2,400万的城市进行了全市性大规模封锁，从「分批封控」、「全域静态管理」，到「三区防控」、「有限活动」，系自湖北省后中国首次对一级行政区进行全面封锁措施。截至5月10日，根据政府数据，已有无症状感染者556,784例、确诊病例56,383例、死亡560例。这轮疫情也已外溢至江苏、浙江、安徽、北京、陕西、山西、海南、江西、河南、湖北、湖南、福建、贵州、广东、重庆等地。

在毫无准备、极端混乱的封控措施下，市民日常生活受到极大负面影响。由于无法获得及时适当的医疗护理，不完全统计至今已有近两百人死亡；由于无法获得医疗帮助、迫于政策压力等原因，也发生数起自杀事件；被隔离者的宠物被残忍杀死；失信的核酸检测结果线上系统下，违反人权的强制转运和隔离手段，未成年与父母被强制分离等事件，凸显人道主义问题十分严重；封城造成以往正常的市场交易与物流完全失效，长期被吹捧的线上购物却令物资分配更加难以有序进行，以及数字鸿沟带给年长者更大危机；争议性的连花清瘟胶囊挤占物资配力；福利院老人未死亡而被装进裹尸袋拉走；播放《国际歌》遭公安传唤；将楼栋用彩钢板等硬质设施封闭的「硬隔离」引发肢体冲突；强行入户消杀……

而中国大陆诸如微信公众号、微博这一类封闭的、充满政治审查的社交平台，也成为亲历者记录所见、表达愤怒、思考反思的一隅之地。因此我从三月份开始收集整理这些碎片，以及中国本土媒体、国际新闻媒体等报道，整理发布在 Telegram 频道中。因篇幅限制，4月底之后的部分发布在另一处，目前也快达到篇幅上限，因而整理后发布于此，后续更新也请关注这篇文章。

On 1 March 2022, Shanghai, China, a city of over 24 million people, experienced a massive community spread of COVID-19 Omicron variants BA.2 and BA.2.2 due to a lack of effective management of imported cases, lack of effective vaccine protection and inadequate vaccination rates, followed by a massive lockdown from "batch control" and "whole-area static management" to "three zones of prevention and control" and "limited activity". This is the first time since Hubei Province that China has imposed a full lockdown on the provincial level of administration. As of 10 May, according to government data, there were 556,784 asymptomatic cases, 56,383 confirmed cases and 560 deaths. The outbreak has also spread to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Beijing, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hainan, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Fujian, Guizhou, Guangdong and Chongqing.

The unprepared and extremely chaotic lockdown has had a huge negative impact on the daily lives of citizens. According to incomplete statistics, nearly two hundred people have died so far due to lack of access to timely and appropriate medical care; there have also been multiple suicides due to lack of access to medical help and policy pressure, and pets of people in isolation have been brutally killed. The lack of trust in the online system for PCR test results, the forced transfer and isolation methods that violate human rights, and the forced separation of minors from their parents highlight humanitarian issues. The lockdown has caused a complete failure of normal market transactions and logistics in the past, while the long-touted online shopping has made the orderly flow of goods more difficult and the digital divide has created an even greater crisis for the elderly. The controversial Lianhua Qingwen capsule crowded out the circulation of goods; elderly people in orphanages were dragged away in body bags before they died; the playing of the international anthem was summoned by public security forces; 'hard segregation' of buildings with rigid facilities such as steel sheets triggered physical confrontations; forced entry for disinfection . .....

Mainland China's closed, politically censored social media platforms, such as WeChat and Weibo, have also become places for people to record what they see and hear, express their anger, and reflect on their experiences. I, therefore, started collecting these clips, as well as reports from local Chinese media and international news outlets, in March and posted them on my Telegram channel. Due to space constraints, I posted the clips in another place after the end of April and have now reached the limit of space, so I have collated and posted them here, so watch this space for further updates.
